The Lenovo ThinkSystem D4390 is an enterprise-class Direct Attached Storage (DAS) enclosure designed for massive scalability and high-density storage expansion. Its efficient 4U form factor is 34% denser than the previous generation, making it ideal for large-scale data applications such as HPC simulations, object storage, Big Data analytics, video streaming, and archiving.

• Form Factor: 4U rack-mount enclosure.

• Drive Capacity: Supports 90x hot-swap drives (SAS HDD/SSD) per enclosure, with a maximum of 12 SAS SSD drives supported.

• Maximum Storage: Offers a capacity of up to 2.1PB per enclosure using 7,200rpm NL-SAS HDDs, and up to 9.6TB using SAS SSDs.
